These Terms of Use apply to your use of Lar com Estilo (larcomestilo.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free crochet coaster patterns and tutorials for general information and personal enjoyment. We work to keep the instructions clear and the stitch counts accurate, but we do not guarantee that every tutorial is free of errors or that you will get a particular size or result by following it. Gauge varies with yarn, hook and the person crocheting.

Safety and use of finished items

Crochet is a low-risk craft, but the tutorials mention scissors, yarn needles, blocking pins and steam irons. Use tools with care and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Children should be supervised by an adult, particularly for any step involving sharp tools, pins or heat.

A crocheted coaster is a decorative household textile. We make no promise that a coaster made from our patterns will absorb a given amount of liquid, protect a surface from moisture, stains or heat, or be suitable for hot cookware. Yarn fibers differ, some dyes can transfer when wet, and some fibers can melt or scorch. Follow the care and safety information on your yarn label, and test a finished coaster before using it on a delicate or valuable surface. You are responsible for deciding whether a project and a finished item are suitable for your use.

Unless stated otherwise, the text, patterns, illustrations and design of the site belong to Lar com Estilo. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and use the patterns for personal, classroom, library, craft-group or other non-commercial purposes;
  • give away or sell the finished coasters you make yourself from our patterns;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole patterns, articles or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.

Basic crochet stitches and common shapes such as circles and granny squares are shared craft knowledge, and anyone is free to use them. Our rights relate to our own written instructions and illustrations, not to those stitches and shapes themselves.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.

The site may link to third-party websites that we think are useful, such as craft industry standards pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
